Food photography is the first challenge we offer in the advanced course. With a professional camera, studio light, recipe development and everything that belongs to the big ones.
An obvious exercise in India with such a rich culinary gift, especially since the students cook at home every day and master a variety of delicious recipes.
The students form teams of two and come up with a typical Indian recipe that they cook, arrange and photograph – from the ingredients to the finished dish to the hero photo with a lot of appetizing appeal. Designed for two days and with a very sporty timing.

MAKING OF.

In advance, the participants have to develop an idea for a visually and culinary convincing recipe. In the end, both ingredients and the finished dish should be photographed.
For this purpose, the students research recipe photos online on Google and Instagram and develop their own photo idea. Then the next morning we go to the market with our fieldofficer to get all the ingredients.
Then the ingredients are arranged and photographed with a tripod and studio light. The camera is coupled to a computer so that the results can be discussed directly. Classic food professional work.
After the ingredient shoot, the pupils go straight on, because the recipes have to be cooked for the final shoot the next day. Family and neighbors are kept busy, and many cook until late at night. You can see here that it was worth it. Believe us that it tasted good: yum yum.
